While our Springfield dental team may be on the small side, they’re phenomenal at what they do, and our patients absolutely love them! They’re warm, welcoming, and between them they have countless years of experience. They’re often the first and last people you’ll see whenever you come and visit, so we invite you to get to know them a little better by reading their short biographies below.
Ashley, Registered Dental Hygienist
Ashley started working in the dental field in 2005 alongside her father, who was a 3rd generation Dental Lab Technician. She quickly fell in love with dentistry and went on to serve as a Registered Dental Assistant for ten years before going on to graduate from STCC with her Associate's Degree of Dental Science in Dental Hygiene in 2020. While there, she proudly received the Hu Friedy Golden Scaler Award. The thing that makes her happiest is when a patient comes to their recall appointment and has shown significant improvement in their oral home care.
Outside of the office, Ashley likes to spend time at the beach, go on adventures with her husband (Ian) and their mini goldendoodle (Theo), and make plant-based meals.
Rachel, Receptionist / Insurance & Sleep Coordinator
Rachel graduated from the dental assisting program at Springfield Technical Community College in 2005, and she has over 15 years of experience in the dental field. She has worked in many types of dental offices during her schooling (including general, endodontic, and orthodontic practices), making her familiar with many aspects of dentistry. She enjoys being able to help our patients understand their insurance and give them a better understanding of what is covered by their plan.
When she isn’t serving patients, Rachel enjoys hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband and four children.
